About this role

True Anomaly seeks a full stack software engineer (new grad) to build spacecraft mission control and ground systems using React/TypeScript and Elixir. This is a 3-month temporary role with potential conversion to permanent employment, supporting autonomous spacecraft and space-based defense capabilities.

What you'll do

  • Develop full-stack features spanning React/TypeScript frontends (2D/3D) and Elixir backend services for satellite command, control, and mission planning
  • Write testable, maintainable code following best practices across both frontend and backend codebases
  • Work on defined tasks under senior engineer guidance to build depth across the tech stack
  • Collaborate with space operators, designers, and algorithm engineers across cross-functional teams
  • Participate in design and code reviews to improve system quality
