Software Engineer I, QA

About this role

True Anomaly is looking for a Software QA Engineer to support their mission of enhancing space security through technology. The ideal candidate will be early in their QA career, eager to ensure software quality through manual and automated testing while collaborating within an agile environment.

What you'll do

• Execute manual and automated tests on software
• Document and report defects in Jira
• Participate in agile sprint planning and stand-ups
• Collaborate with developers and products to clarify requirements
• Maintain a test repository using Playwright
• Contribute to QA standards and testing processes

What they're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
• 0-2 years of QA/testing experience
• Understanding of software development lifecycle
• Basic coding knowledge, preferably in JavaScript
• Familiarity with Jira and Git
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication abilities
• U.S. citizenship for clearance eligibility
