About this role

Join Twitch's Security Platform team as an SDE II to design and operate critical security infrastructure serving thousands of concurrent users. You'll build production systems for security telemetry, detection automation, and compliance workflows while partnering across security, privacy, and infrastructure teams.

What you'll do

  • Own software projects end-to-end from design through production deployment and operational support
  • Build and operate critical services, pipelines, and tooling for security telemetry, detection, and response automation
  • Drive operational excellence through observability, reliability, and runbook development for business-critical systems
  • Partner with Security, Identity, Privacy, and Infrastructure teams on company-wide initiatives
  • Influence engineering standards through design reviews, code reviews, and technical decision-making
  • Participate in retrospectives and technical discussions to shape platform direction
