Salesforce Platform Engineer

Vanta is seeking a Salesforce Platform Engineer to enhance the development experience and deployment framework for its Salesforce team. This remote role entails building CI/CD pipelines, improving release processes, and preparing the environment for AI-assisted development alongside traditional engineering tasks.

What you'll do

• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and Gearset.
• Establish engineering standards like code quality enforcement and testing frameworks.
• Implement feature flag infrastructure for gradual rollouts on Salesforce.
• Manage sandbox and scratch org processes, including test data seeding.
• Instrument observability across Salesforce environments.
• Contribute to Salesforce engineering after initial buildout.

What they're looking for

• 5+ years of Salesforce engineering experience
• Hands-on experience with Gearset and Git workflows
• Apex and LWC testing frameworks knowledge
• Experience managing Salesforce sandboxes
• Familiarity with feature flag patterns
• Implementing observability for Salesforce
• Strong communication skills
• Curiosity about AI-assisted development
