About this role
Varda seeks a Build Reliability Engineer II to partner with design and manufacturing teams in scaling spacecraft hardware production. This role ensures reliable, verified hardware delivery by developing test and inspection plans, leading failure investigations, and supporting quality and mission assurance across the organization.
What you'll do
- Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to develop test, manufacturability, and inspection plans for spacecraft hardware
- Manage containment of non-conforming products and guide quality inspectors, technicians, and engineers
- Lead failure investigations in production and operations to identify root causes and improve design and process reliability
- Provide technical peer review during design reviews and qualification test campaigns
- Support Quality, Flight Reliability, and Mission Assurance functions as needed
