Software Development Engineer, Salesforce

About this role

Veeam seeks a Senior Salesforce Data Engineer to design and lead scalable data solutions on the Salesforce platform and integrated enterprise systems. You'll provide technical leadership on complex initiatives, own architectures from design to operation, and drive improvements in platform health, observability, and engineering practices.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and steward advanced Salesforce data solutions with focus on scalability, security, performance, and data integrity
• Plan and architect complex initiatives spanning Salesforce and connected enterprise systems, translating business requirements into resilient technical solutions
• Lead delivery and support of integrations between Salesforce and external systems with attention to performance, failure handling, and observability
• Build and maintain data migration and transformation pipelines, both synchronous and asynchronous
• Solve high-impact data problems and make sound tradeoff decisions across data modeling, automation, integration, and governance
• Proactively reduce technical debt, improve platform health, and elevate engineering practices across the team
