About this role
Verkada is hiring an Enterprise Solutions Engineer in the Northeast to drive sales of its AI-powered physical security platform to Fortune 500 customers. You'll serve as the technical expert alongside account executives, overcoming objections, designing deployments, and evangelizing Verkada's integrated video, access control, and IoT solutions while traveling 50%+ to customer sites.
What you'll do
- Serve as subject matter expert on Verkada's full product suite and articulate value to enterprise customers
- Address technical objections and secure technical wins during the sales process
- Design and present Verkada solutions to diverse stakeholders from C-level to IT directors
- Provide technical sales support and guidance to territory account executives
- Conduct product training and education for partners, customers, and internal teams
- Travel 50%+ domestically and internationally to support customer and partner engagements

- Cloud security and IoT systems architecture
- Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, HTTPS, VLANs, DNS, NAT, DHCP, firewalls)
- Linux systems administration
- Video surveillance and access control systems
- Sales engineering and enterprise objection handling
- Technical communication to C-suite and operational teams
- Active Directory, SAML/SCIM, and API integration (bonus)
- Python or other programming languages (bonus)
