About this role

Voyager Technologies seeks a Components Engineer I to support space and defense programs by managing parts selection, component quality control, and ECAD library maintenance. You'll collaborate with design, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to ensure component compliance, drive standardization, and address obsolescence issues across mission-critical projects.

What you'll do

  • Select and evaluate components for high-technology space programs while managing parts creation and quality control
  • Develop component requirements, coordinate with design and manufacturing engineers to ensure adherence to specifications
  • Maintain ECAD library, introduce new parts, and drive part standardization across projects
  • Monitor Product Change Notices (PCNs) and GIDEP alerts for component impact and advise engineering teams
  • Manage part numbers, maintain data integrity, and address component obsolescence proactively
  • Collaborate with component manufacturers and distributors to understand product roadmaps
