Quality Assurance Engineer I
About this role
Voyager Technologies seeks a Quality Assurance Engineer I to support product development lifecycle across planning, design, testing, and delivery phases for space and defense applications. You'll drive quality best practices, ensure compliance with ISO9001/AS9100 standards, and collaborate across engineering disciplines to deliver mission-critical solutions.
What you'll do
- Manage deviations, waivers, nonconformances (NCRs), and change management actions throughout the product lifecycle
- Conduct internal audits to verify compliance with customer requirements, company procedures, and ISO 9001/AS9100 standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on quality, risk management, safety, and reliability initiatives
- Support failure analysis, root cause determination, and corrective action implementation for non-conforming products
- Develop and implement part/material qualification plans and inspection procedures with engineering teams
- Monitor quality specifications and processes to ensure compliance with technical requirements and industry standards
