About this role
Xaira Therapeutics seeks a Lab Software Engineer to build software systems bridging AI, scientific workflows, and drug discovery. You'll develop lab instrument interfaces, data pipelines, and models to support therapeutic research in a fast-paced biotech environment.
What you'll do
- Design and develop software to capture data from lab instruments across high and low throughput experiments
- Build scalable automated pipelines for processing instrument data
- Define data models and schemas for experimental samples with computational and experimental teams
- Develop APIs and tools to aggregate and expose data for analysis and visualization
- Configure and manage LIMS/ELN systems for the organization

- Python and/or C# programming
- Data modeling and schema design for scientific data
- SQL database design and queries
- Laboratory instrument software integration
- Cloud computing (AWS preferred)
- LIMS/ELN systems experience (Benchling preferred)
- Data pipeline and ETL development
- Cross-functional collaboration and requirements gathering
