Controls Engineer
About this role
Zeeco seeks a Controls Engineer to design and develop control systems, instrumentation, and electrical documentation for industrial equipment. You'll create P&ID drawings, PLC logic, control panel BOMs, and ISA datasheets while coordinating with engineering and sales teams, with occasional travel to support commissioning and Middle East clients.
What you'll do
- Review project packages and customer specifications to define equipment scope and requirements
- Develop P&ID drawings and control logic diagrams in ISA format for PLCs and DCS systems
- Create control panel BOMs including enclosures, relays, timers, and instrumentation specifications
- Design electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and interconnection drawings for panels and power distribution
- Prepare cable BOMs, routing plans, and equipment inspection/test procedures
- Travel domestically and internationally for commissioning support and customer collaboration
