MEP Engineer – Product Compliance & Residential Integration

ZURU Tech is seeking a PE-licensed MEP Engineer to ensure product compliance and integration within their innovative residential systems development. This senior role involves collaborating with R&D teams, conducting regulatory research, and overseeing MEP component certification to ensure compliance with local and national codes.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with R&D to embed code compliance in product design.
• Conduct regulatory research for product compliance.
• Anticipate and adapt to upcoming code changes.
• Serve as an expert on MEP certification standards.
• Oversee testing and certification processes with laboratories.
• Integrate proprietary products into residential projects.

What they're looking for

• PE license in California (required)
• Expertise in California Title 24 and NEC
• Experience with UL/ETL certification processes
• Residential MEP sizing and load calculations
• Bachelor's in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Knowledge of fire safety standards
