What is a job application autofill extension?

A job application autofill extension is a browser add-on that fills in job application forms from details you saved once. Your browser's own autofill stops at your name, email and address. Jobs AI Autofill, InterviewChamp's Chrome extension, also answers work eligibility questions, picks the right dropdown options, uploads your resume and drafts the written answers. On a form that runs over several pages, it fills each new page when you tap Next step. It never presses Submit. You check the form and send it yourself.

Works on
46 hiring systems, including Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workday and Workable, and company career pages that embed one of those forms. On other application pages, click its icon in Chrome's toolbar.
Fills
Contact details, links, work eligibility, dropdowns and checkboxes, and work history from your resume. It ticks required agreement boxes too, so read them before you send.
Written questions
Drafts an answer from your profile and resume, and from the job post when the page shows it. You can edit it before you send.
Your resume
Uploads it, or a copy tailored to that job
Sensitive questions
Gender, race, disability and veteran questions it recognizes are filled only from answers you saved, otherwise left blank. Check them before you send.

What it does

More than your browser's autofill

Every field, not just your name

Work eligibility, links, dropdowns and checkboxes, matched to the options the employer actually offers. When it has no answer, it asks you.

Written answers, drafted

"Why do you want to work here?" gets a draft from your profile and resume, ready for you to edit before you send.

Your resume, attached

It uploads your resume, or a copy tailored to that job from your resume in our builder.

You press Submit

It fills the form, lists what it left for you, and stops. Sending the application stays your call.

How it works

How do you autofill a job application?

  1. 1Fill your profile onceContact details, work eligibility and your resume, answered once.
  2. 2Add the extension to ChromeInstall it from the Chrome Web Store and sign in to your free account.
  3. 3Open a job applicationOn most hiring sites the panel opens by itself beside the form. Anywhere else, click the extension's icon.
  4. 4Press "Autofill this application", then check and sendFields filled, resume uploaded, written answers drafted. Anything it found but couldn't fill is listed for you. On a longer form, tap Next step for each page.

Is auto-apply safe? How autofill compares

An auto-apply bot applies for you, so you may never read what went out under your name. Your browser's autofill is safe but stops at your contact details. Typing every form yourself is the slowest way, and you see every word. An autofill extension sits in between: it does the typing, and you still read and send each application.

If this is you

Where is your job search stuck?

Find the line that sounds like your week. Each one takes you straight to the part of InterviewChamp built to fix it.

  1. You're here

You've sent application after application and heard nothing back.

When your resume doesn't use the words in the job posting, recruiters searching for those words never see it.

The fix: Paste your resume and the posting to get a match score and the missing keywords, ranked by how much the posting cares about each one. Then fix the gaps in the resume builder before you hit apply.

  2. You know the material, then blank the second they ask.

Knowing an answer and saying it out loud while someone watches are two different skills, and most prep only trains the first one.

The fix: Grab questions for your role from our free question generator and answer them out loud. The AI transcribes you and drafts a stronger answer beside yours, built from your resume and the job description.

  3. Your coding round is on the calendar.

You can code, but a timed problem in an editor you've never used is its own skill, and that's the one being tested.

The fix: Open a practice problem on the platform your test uses and press one hotkey in the desktop app: it reads the problem off your screen and returns a working solution with its time and space complexity. Take the real test on your own, and on live coding calls check what the company allows.

  4. Your live interview is tomorrow.

One question you didn't see coming can stall the whole call.

The fix: On Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Webex and phone screens, each question the interviewer asks shows up as text on your screen with a suggested answer built from your resume and the job description. Check what the company allows before a live round.

  5. You keep landing interviews but no offers.

Something in your answers is costing you the offer, and it's hard to fix what you can't remember saying.

The fix: Run the round that went wrong again as a practice session. Every session is saved with the full transcript and each answer the AI suggested, so you can reread it the next morning and drill the answers that fell flat.

FAQ

Job application autofill questions, answered

Sending applications you never read is the risky part: a wrong answer to an eligibility question, or a generic note, goes out under your name. Jobs AI Autofill fills the form and drafts the written answers, then stops. You read every answer and press Submit yourself.

Yes, to start. The free plan's Jobs AI credits (4 shared a day) cover autofill, tailored resumes and cover letters. One credit covers one application, even when the form runs over several pages. Pro and Pro+ are unlimited.

No. It never presses Submit. It fills the form, shows you what it filled and what it left for you, and stops.

46 hiring systems, including Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workday and Workable. It also opens on a company's careers page when that page embeds one of those forms. On any other application page, click its icon in Chrome's toolbar to start it.

It's built not to. When it spots a gender, race, disability or veteran question, it fills it only from answers you saved in your profile. If you didn't save one, it leaves the field blank for you, and the AI never answers these questions. A question worded in an unusual way can slip past, so check these before you send.

Your profile and resume are already in your account. When you autofill, it sends the form's questions and options, the page's web address, and the job post text and location from that page, so the written answers fit the role. It doesn't read your browsing history, and we don't sell your data.

Yes, a free InterviewChamp account. Your profile lives there and the extension signs in to use it. Autofill starts once your profile is complete, and you fill it in once.

It asks you. For a dropdown, it shows the employer's own options. Your answer is saved to your account unless you untick the box, and the next form that asks the same question gets it filled for you. Private answers, like salary history, gender or race, are never saved this way.

Chrome, version 116 or newer. It installs from the Chrome Web Store.
