About this role

Metrea is seeking a Systems Integration Engineer to translate mission needs into deployable airborne ISR capabilities. This role involves leading systems design, supporting modification and integration efforts, and ensuring compliance with airworthiness and safety standards. You'll collaborate with operators, maintainers, and engineering teams to deliver reliable, high-performance ISR solutions.

What you'll do

  • Translate operational ISR requirements into systems designs.
  • Conduct engineering trade studies for sensor payloads and communication architectures.
  • Develop system artifacts such as CONOPS and integration drawings.
  • Plan and execute lab, ground, and flight test activities.
  • Configure and troubleshoot TCP/IP-based mission networks.
  • Manage technical risk and configuration control.
