About this role

9 Mothers seeks an IT Systems Administrator to manage internal IT operations and endpoint infrastructure for a defense engineering team developing counter-drone AI systems. You'll own the identity stack, compliance boundaries, and day-to-day tooling that keeps engineering teams productive in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.

What you'll do

  • Administer Microsoft 365 GCC High and Entra ID including identity, licensing, groups, and access controls
  • Execute end-to-end employee onboarding and offboarding with hardware and access provisioning
  • Provision, image, and manage Windows and macOS endpoints using MDM tools like Intune or Jamf
  • Maintain office network infrastructure including UniFi stack, switching, Wi-Fi, and VLAN segmentation
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software, hardware, and networking issues across the team
  • Automate traditional sysadmin workflows and maintain IT documentation and asset records

What they're looking for

  • Windows and macOS endpoint administration (3+ years)
  • Microsoft 365 / Entra ID cloud identity platform
  • Mobile Device Management (Intune, Jamf, or equivalent)
  • TCP/IP networking, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, and VPN
  • SSO and SCIM provisioning
  • Independent problem-solving with broad scope
  • CMMC or NIST 800-171 compliance experience (nice to have)
  • NVIDIA Jetson platform experience (nice to have)
