About this role

Antares seeks a Nuclear Operations Engineer to develop and execute operational programs for deployable microreactor systems, ensuring safe startup, deployment, and real-world operation while training personnel and interfacing with internal and external stakeholders.

What you'll do

  • Oversee safe and efficient operation of reactor experiments and facilities to maximize availability
  • Design and deliver nuclear training programs for operators and maintenance staff
  • Develop operational procedures, staffing plans, and programs required for successful deployment
  • Obtain Reactor Operator and Senior Reactor Operator qualifications
  • Lead technical reviews and discussions with internal teams and external partners
  • Provide feedback to engineering teams to improve reactor deployment repeatability and scalability
