About this role

9th Way Insignia seeks an Expert Power BI Developer (Engineer 3 level) to design and deliver enterprise reporting solutions for a government customer in Washington, DC. You'll develop complex dashboards, semantic models, and analytics across multiple business lines, working with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into scalable reporting capabilities.

What you'll do

  • Design, develop, and maintain complex Power BI dashboards, reports, and semantic models for enterprise operations
  • Develop DAX logic, optimize performance, and implement secure data presentation across reporting solutions
  • Collaborate with ETL developers, data analysts, and government stakeholders to translate requirements into effective reporting capabilities
  • Contribute to technical planning, risk identification, and documentation for disciplined delivery
  • Support full-stack reporting solutions including data integration, transformation, and semantic model design
  • Work on-site at government location in Washington, DC during normal business hours
