Accenture Federal Services seeks a Database Engineer to design, manage, and optimize database systems for federal government clients. What you'll do
- Design, implement, and maintain database schemas and structures across Oracle, PostgreSQL, and AWS RDS platforms
- Optimize database performance through indexing, query optimization, and configuration tuning
- Establish and manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures with high availability solutions
- Implement database security controls, access management, and encryption using AWS KMS and Secrets Manager
- Monitor database health, resource utilization, and implement alerting systems via CloudWatch
- Manage version upgrades, patches, and automate routine database administration tasks
