About this role
Accenture Federal Services seeks an experienced Data Engineer to design and maintain distributed data processing pipelines for federal defense and national security clients. The role involves configuring data connections, normalization, enrichment, and integration with analytics platforms while following agile methodologies and maintaining classified systems.
What you'll do
- Develop and configure distributed parallel data processing pipelines including data parsing, normalization, mapping, and enrichment
- Operate and maintain data pipelines to meet platform availability and performance requirements
- Apply agile methodologies to data engineering components of the system development lifecycle
- Integrate with data and analytics SDKs/APIs for end-to-end pipeline connectivity
- Perform data mapping, modeling, and deduplication for classified military data sources
- Update technical documentation including system design, SOPs, and training materials
