About this role
Accenture Federal Services seeks an experienced Software Development Engineer to design and implement event-driven architectures for federal government clients. You'll build scalable, observable data pipeline systems with robust fault tolerance, access control, and real-time alerting capabilities using Python, Kafka, and modern observability tools.
What you'll do
- Design and implement event-driven architectures with comprehensive observability and event tracking across data pipelines
- Develop modular systems supporting seamless integration with new data formats and business domains
- Build solutions prioritizing access control, fault tolerance, and real-time alerting capabilities
- Create monitoring frameworks and dashboards using Grafana and ELK stack for system health visibility
- Implement asynchronous and concurrent programming patterns for distributed systems
- Maintain high standards for record-keeping and digital audit trails in data infrastructure
