About this role

The ACLU seeks an Analytics Engineer to join its Technology Department's Analytics division, where you'll transform organizational data into analysis-ready formats and support data infrastructure modernization. Working in a hybrid role across New York, San Francisco, or Washington DC, you'll collaborate with data scientists and analysts to enable data-driven decision-making for fundraising, communications, and advocacy initiatives.

What you'll do

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data models supporting reporting, business intelligence, and analytics needs
  • Transform data from ACLU's internal systems into analysis-ready formats for stakeholders
  • Scrape and integrate data from public sources into analytics pipelines
  • Support CRM migration and data model rebuild as ACLU transitions systems
  • Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, analysts, and business users to improve data infrastructure
  • Work with membership, donation, voter file, and web data to enable evidence-based decision-making
