Facilities Project Engineer (On-site)

About this role

ATS seeks an Industrial Facilities Engineer to develop and improve industrial maintenance products, design control systems, and provide technical support in a manufacturing environment. The role combines hands-on troubleshooting with project management, customer engagement, and approximately 35% travel to support service centers and clients.

What you'll do

• Develop new products, tests, and procedures while reviewing and improving existing methodologies
• Design fixtures and control systems; perform warranty root cause analysis
• Meet regularly with customers to review applications and identify new product opportunities
• Provide technical troubleshooting support and resolve hardware/software issues
• Prepare in-depth studies and technical documentation for internal and external stakeholders
• Plan workforce utilization, space requirements, and facility layouts for maximum efficiency

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 5+ years of related experience
• Pro-E design software proficiency
• Technical writing and documentation
• Project management and hands-on technical troubleshooting
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
