About this role
ATS, a leading industrial maintenance company, seeks a Reliability Engineer to optimize factory operations in Chicago by implementing predictive maintenance strategies, conducting failure analysis, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This role combines technical expertise in reliability-centered maintenance with leadership responsibilities for mentoring teams and collaborating with customers on engineered solutions.
What you'll do
- Develop and implement reliability-centered maintenance strategies and equipment-specific maintenance plans
- Conduct root cause analysis, failure mode effects analysis, and fault tree analysis to identify and mitigate equipment failures
- Partner with internal and external customers to design engineered solutions that improve reliability and production throughput
- Mentor maintenance teams on predictive, preventative, and precision maintenance technologies and best practices
- Identify capital expenditure opportunities for equipment replacement and develop ROI justifications
- Ensure compliance with safety culture, regulatory requirements, and ATS policies while promoting reliability excellence
