About this role
Adyen is hiring a Software Engineer II to develop payment solutions using Kotlin across their payment terminals and SDKs. You'll work on a Kotlin Multiplatform codebase deployed on Android, Linux terminals, and backend systems, building features for global merchants while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain payment processing features in Kotlin for Android and Linux-based payment terminals
- Build and integrate payment capabilities including card, digital wallet, and QR code acceptance
- Contribute to C++ libraries supporting core payment business logic
- Write and maintain comprehensive unit and integration tests using automated testing methods
- Mentor other engineers through code reviews and design discussions
- Collaborate with product designers and business stakeholders on feature development
