About this role
A neurotechnology company seeking a Cloud/Backend Engineer to design and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure and database solutions for haptic wearable devices. You'll lead technical initiatives independently, integrate complex systems, and collaborate across teams to deliver production-grade backend platforms.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, and maintain cloud backend systems and database solutions supporting haptic device data streaming
- Develop integrations between cloud backends, SDKs, middleware, and third-party software components
- Architect and implement data infrastructure supporting analytics and application requirements
- Create and improve testing, validation, and troubleshooting protocols for cloud systems
- Troubleshoot complex integration issues across cloud, database, SDK, and middleware layers using root-cause analysis
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and risk mitigation guidance to the development team
