About this role
AfterQuery seeks a Growth Software Engineer to build product systems connecting expert contributors with frontier AI labs. You'll own end-to-end acquisition, onboarding, and retention workflows while partnering closely with Growth and Operations to drive measurable outcomes at a rapidly scaling YC company.
What you'll do
- Build end-to-end product experiences for expert acquisition, onboarding, assessments, and retention
- Partner with Growth and Operations to identify bottlenecks and ship improvements quickly
- Own experiments from hypothesis through implementation and measurement
- Develop internal tools and automation for customer-facing and operational teams
- Create durable product primitives and clean interfaces rather than one-off solutions
- Use data and user feedback to balance speed, reliability, and maintainability
