Cybersecurity Engineer, Jr - Continuous Monitoring
About this role
AGE Solutions seeks a Junior Cybersecurity Engineer to support continuous monitoring and risk management for a DoD customer. You'll assess security controls, maintain monitoring strategies and dashboards, and generate compliance reports using industry-standard tools like Splunk, ACAS, and Axonius across multiple defense locations.
What you'll do
- Assess and monitor enterprise security controls using Qmulos, Splunk, ACAS, Axonius, CheckMark, BURP, and ESS
- Develop and maintain Continuous Monitoring (ConMon) Strategy and Standard Operating Procedures
- Conduct ongoing security control assessments and generate weekly status reports from live tool data
- Maintain ConMon Dashboard tracking compliance, POA&M status, FISMA reviews, and asset management
- Ensure ConMon controls are properly documented in RMF packages within eMASS
- Alert Government within 60 minutes of negative security posture changes

- Splunk, ACAS, Axonius, Qmulos, CheckMark, BURP, or HBSS
- RMF process and NIST SP 800-37, 800-53 standards
- Security architecture and system hardening
- Vulnerability management and intrusion detection/prevention
- Written and oral presentation skills
- DoD 8570 IA Technical (IAT) Level II certification
- Customer service and cross-team coordination
- Dashboard and reporting tool proficiency
