About this role

Airbnb seeks a Senior Software Engineer to build backend systems powering the host listing creation and management experience. You'll collaborate across product and design teams to architect scalable solutions for Stays, Experiences, and Services while supporting a global community of millions of hosts.

What you'll do

• Design and implement backend functionality for host listing onboarding and management workflows
• Collaborate with Client Engineering, Product, and Design teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Scope technical requirements, drive system design, and oversee implementation of new features
• Build high-quality, reusable backend components and services
• Mentor and support engineers across the team and dependent teams
• Ensure operational excellence and scalability of listing domain systems
