About this role
Join Airwallex's Infrastructure & Productivity team to design and build goal-oriented AI agents that automate SRE, DevOps, and DBA workflows across global infrastructure. You'll work on Quartermaster, an internal agent platform, creating autonomous systems that handle incident response, provisioning, database management, and deployments while ensuring safety and reliability in production environments.
What you'll do
- Design and implement autonomous infrastructure AI agents for incident investigation, remediation, provisioning, and deployment orchestration
- Build robust agent architectures with planning loops, reasoning, tool execution, error recovery, and human-in-the-loop escalation
- Integrate agents with infrastructure tooling including Kubernetes, Terraform, cloud APIs, databases, and monitoring systems
- Define and measure agent performance metrics such as task completion rate, accuracy, and time-to-resolution
- Partner with SRE, DevOps, and platform teams to identify high-value workflows and operational pain points for automation
- Contribute to the technical vision and strategy for infrastructure AI at Airwallex
