About this role
AKASA seeks a Software Engineer to build AI-powered solutions for healthcare revenue cycle and clinical documentation. You'll design and deploy production LLM systems serving hundreds of hospitals, working across the full stack from agentic workflows to infrastructure while partnering with clinical and product experts.
What you'll do
- Build LLM-driven features and products across the full stack, from agentic system design to production infrastructure serving hundreds of hospitals
- Design and implement offline/online evaluation frameworks and experimentation loops for reliable, production-grade AI systems
- Deploy AI solutions for clinical documentation quality, medical coding, and financial integrity in regulated healthcare environments
- Partner with product, clinical, and revenue cycle experts to advance AI capabilities in healthcare workflows
- Balance technical implementation with medical coding guidelines, user feedback, and auditability requirements
- Work on high-stakes problems spanning clinical diagnosis and regulated medical billing
