About this role
Akuity seeks a DevRel Engineer to bridge the company and its developer community by creating technical content, supporting developers, and evangelizing GitOps and Kubernetes solutions. This hybrid role combines software engineering expertise with community engagement across online channels and industry events, with quarterly travel required.
What you'll do
- Create technical content including code samples, tutorials, demos, documentation, and blog posts
- Engage with developers in forums, social media, and community channels to answer questions and gather feedback
- Provide technical support to external developers resolving issues and offering guidance
- Represent Akuity at developer conferences, meetups, and workshops
- Collaborate with internal product and engineering teams to improve developer experience
- Present and advocate for Akuity's GitOps and Kubernetes technology to the broader community
