About this role
Alamar seeks an Engineer I to support the operation and maintenance of their ARGO protein biomarker platform in Fremont. You'll troubleshoot and repair instruments, manage refurbishment processes, perform quality testing, and develop standard operating procedures while partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure reliability and drive improvements.
What you'll do
- Own ARGO instrument refurbishment including troubleshooting, repair, and quality control testing of components
- Perform instrument troubleshooting, repair, preventive maintenance, and upgrades for internal ARGO systems
- Conduct qualification, calibration, and quality inspections of spare and manufacturer-repaired sub-modules
- Develop, maintain, and improve SOPs for manufacturing, qualification, repair, and maintenance activities
- Address internal user requests and document activities in the issue-tracking system
- Support field service team and develop service bulletins for remote troubleshooting
