About this role
Alarm.com seeks a Cloud Systems Engineer to deploy, operate, and maintain large-scale GPU-accelerated infrastructure supporting AI and HPC workloads. This hands-on role combines Linux administration, hardware troubleshooting, and datacenter operations to ensure reliability and performance of critical AI systems.
What you'll do
- Deploy, configure, and manage GPU-accelerated compute infrastructure and OS/firmware lifecycle
- Monitor system health, performance, and capacity; develop operational runbooks and procedures
- Administer enterprise Linux environments and troubleshoot OS, kernel, storage, and networking issues
- Install, diagnose, and resolve hardware issues involving GPUs, CPUs, memory, storage, and networking
- Perform firmware upgrades, hardware lifecycle management, and coordinate vendor support
- Participate in on-call support, incident response, and root-cause analysis
