About this role
Benesch seeks a Structural Project Engineer to join its Milwaukee office, working on transportation infrastructure projects with state and local agencies. You'll perform structural analysis, design calculations, create technical drawings, and coordinate project documentation while gaining experience with industry-standard software and codes.
What you'll do
- Collect data and perform structural modeling, analysis, and design calculations for project elements
- Prepare design details and technical drawings under senior direction
- Calculate quantities and track relationships to construction pay items
- Organize and document calculations following project standards and file protocols
- Coordinate drafting efforts for assigned structural components
- Conduct field visits and site inspections as required
