About this role

ACS seeks an experienced DevOps Engineer to architect and manage production AWS infrastructure and Kubernetes clusters supporting a rapidly scaling defense technology company. You'll own end-to-end infrastructure reliability, deployment pipelines, and security controls while balancing velocity with compliance in a mission-critical environment.

What you'll do

  • Architect and manage production AWS workloads including VPC, IAM, EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda
  • Design, deploy, and operate Kubernetes clusters with focus on scheduling, networking, and upgrades
  • Author and maintain Terraform modules for multi-environment infrastructure-as-code
  • Implement least-privilege access controls and secrets management using Vault or AWS Secrets Manager
  • Own production system reliability, performance monitoring, and incident response
  • Partner with engineering teams to build secure, rapid deployment pipelines
