About this role

Allen Control Systems seeks a Supplier Quality Engineer to oversee incoming materials and components for their autonomous defense systems. You'll conduct supplier audits, manage quality issues, and drive continuous improvement across the supply chain while collaborating with Engineering and Procurement teams in a fast-paced startup environment.

What you'll do

  • Perform supplier audits and assessments to verify manufacturing and quality capabilities
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective action processes for supplier defects
  • Drive Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Part Approval Processes (PPAP)
  • Create supplier performance scorecards and track quality metrics (DPMO, COPQ)
  • Review Engineering Change Orders for supply chain impact and feasibility
  • Partner with Procurement to support high-risk suppliers and resolve production bottlenecks
