ALTEN Technology USA seeks an Electrical Harness Connector Engineer/Librarian to manage and maintain a comprehensive connector library supporting autonomous vehicle electrical architectures. The role focuses on cataloging, validating, and ensuring data accuracy for low-voltage, high-voltage, and high-speed connectors within Siemens Capital Harness and 3DX CATIA platforms, while serving as the technical expert for cross-functional design teams.

What you'll do

  • Manage and catalog electrical connectors in Siemens Capital Harness and 3DX CATIA with consistent accuracy across platforms
  • Validate electrical and mechanical parameters of connectors including pin-outs, current/voltage ratings, signal integrity, and mating specifications
  • Evaluate connector suitability for low-voltage, high-voltage, and high-speed applications (Ethernet, Coax, GMSL, FAKRA, etc.)
  • Establish and improve connector library management best practices with EE, harness, mechanical, and supplier teams
  • Serve as subject matter expert providing reliable component data and library guidance to design teams
  • Drive configuration management and data governance across the connector portfolio
