Electrical Systems Engineer
About this role
ALTEN Technology USA seeks an Electrical Systems Engineer in Greensboro to design and advance electrical and electronic architectures for next-generation heavy-duty and autonomous vehicle platforms. You'll manage system requirements, drive feature integration, and ensure functional safety and regulatory compliance throughout the product development lifecycle.
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain electrical and electronic system specifications for vehicle platforms
- Establish and document system requirements, technical interfaces, and engineering documentation
- Lead technical definition and development of new vehicle capabilities and feature enhancements
- Support vehicle platform architecture evolution for conventional and autonomous programs
- Maintain requirements traceability and manage change and configuration throughout development
- Investigate and resolve complex technical issues spanning hardware, embedded software, and vehicle networks
