About this role

ALTEN Technology USA seeks a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to own the vehicle access authentication system, managing transaction authorization, lock/unlock, and remote functions across Digital Key and Key Card credentials. You'll architect embedded software for automotive ECUs, work with wireless technologies (Bluetooth, UWB, NFC, RF), and support vehicle integration from design through post-launch.

What you'll do

  • Own implementation of vehicle access authentication components including transaction authorization, lock/unlock, start authorization, and remote functions
  • Architect and develop embedded software for Vehicle Access ECUs and real-time platforms
  • Design Digital Key functionality per Car Connectivity Consortium (CCC) standards and Key Card authentication flows
  • Develop software supporting Bluetooth, UWB, NFC, and RF communication technologies for vehicle access
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with systems, hardware, validation, cybersecurity, and mobile teams
  • Support vehicle integration, debugging, and bring-up on prototype and production vehicles
