About this role
ALTEN Technology USA is hiring a Plant Modeling & Simulation Engineer to develop and validate 0D/1D plant models supporting virtual testing and system integration across automotive domains. You'll work with cross-functional teams to create scalable, reusable models and enable model-based development workflows in XIL environments.
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain 0D/1D plant models for systems like propulsion, chassis, ADAS, and infotainment at appropriate fidelity levels
- Validate models against requirements and test data, perform correlation, and optimize for simulation efficiency
- Integrate plant models into XIL workflows and support virtual testing, requirement validation, and system verification
- Collaborate with system design, controls, architecture, and testing teams to ensure alignment and cross-domain integration
- Maintain model documentation, version control, and configuration management following established best practices and standards
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for model fidelity, reusability, simulation efficiency, and process enhancements
