About this role

Lead the complete design and release of vehicle seating systems from concept through production, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Manage cross-functional integration, supplier coordination, and product lifecycle while driving quality and cost improvements.

What you'll do

  • Design and integrate seat structures, components, foam, trim, and complete seat systems
  • Manage product release lifecycle including BOMs, design revisions, and change management
  • Develop DVPRs and support prototype and production builds
  • Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshooting on design and manufacturing issues
  • Collaborate with suppliers, design, manufacturing, and quality teams on seat integration and delivery
  • Ensure all designs meet FMVSS, ECE regulations, performance specs, and customer requirements
