About this role
Join AMT as an Entry Level Water Resources Engineer starting May 2027 in Rockville, MD. You'll perform hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, design drainage and stormwater management systems, and support permitting across diverse water resources projects in a hybrid work environment.
What you'll do
- Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analysis and prepare technical reports
- Collect, analyze, and process data for mapping and project documentation
- Design open and closed drainage systems, stormwater facilities, and erosion controls
- Prepare engineering documents including plans, reports, cost estimates, and specifications
- Obtain and coordinate permit approvals with state and local agencies
- Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and cross-office teams
