About this role
AnaVation seeks an experienced Data Engineer to lead data pipeline development and modernization efforts for a major federal program in Huntsville, AL. You'll design and optimize large-scale ETL solutions, manage data migration across cloud environments, and collaborate with engineering and government stakeholders to deliver mission-critical capabilities.
What you'll do
- Design, build, and maintain data pipelines for structured and unstructured data across enterprise and cloud environments
- Develop and optimize data models, transformation logic, and automation frameworks for large-scale operations
- Lead data migration planning and execution across multi-system environments with petabyte-scale datasets
- Collaborate with engineering, QA, cloud, and stakeholder teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Monitor pipeline performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement performance improvements and automated testing
- Ensure solutions meet federal security, compliance, and governance requirements for mission-critical systems
