About this role

AnaVation seeks a Test Engineer with 8+ years of QA automation experience to validate a major federal modernization and data migration program in Huntsville, AL. You'll design and execute automated testing strategies across cloud, data, and migration workstreams, ensure release readiness, and collaborate with engineering and government stakeholders on mission-critical capabilities.

What you'll do

  • Develop and maintain automated test suites using tools like Selenium, Cypress, Robot, and Postman across cloud, data, and application workstreams
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensure regression coverage for large-scale systems
  • Validate data migration outputs, identify defects, and troubleshoot data-related issues
  • Collaborate with engineering, QA, Scrum, and government teams to define test strategies and acceptance criteria
  • Monitor test coverage, defect resolution, and release readiness; provide performance metrics and recommendations to leadership
  • Support secure delivery by ensuring solutions meet federal security, compliance, and performance requirements
