About this role
Anduril Industries seeks early-career firmware engineers to develop low-level embedded software for military autonomous systems including drones and robotics. You'll write microcontroller firmware, create device drivers, and collaborate with electrical engineers to solve complex hardware-software integration challenges across multiple defense products.
What you'll do
- Develop low-level firmware and software for microcontrollers in defense systems
- Design and implement reusable device drivers and system-level features
- Architect firmware solutions to support growing codebases across multiple products
- Debug issues spanning electrical, firmware, and software boundaries
- Review and collaborate on hardware schematics with electrical engineering teams

- C programming for embedded systems
- Microcontroller firmware development (ARM, AVR, MSP430, or PIC)
- Bare-metal or RTOS firmware environments
- Communication protocols (USB, SPI, I2C, CAN, RS232, Ethernet)
