About this role

Anduril Industries seeks an Algorithm Developer to design and implement advanced multi-target tracking algorithms and real-time software systems for air and missile defense radar. You'll develop production-grade tracking solutions that process massive sensor data streams to detect and characterize airborne threats, working across the full spectrum from novel algorithm development to high-performance system optimization.

What you'll do

  • Design and implement advanced tracking algorithms for multi-target detection, track fusion, and threat discrimination
  • Develop high-performance real-time software systems to process radar data and maintain tracks on dozens to hundreds of simultaneous targets
  • Build and leverage modeling and simulation environments to validate tracking performance and identify improvements
  • Collaborate with radar engineers and system architects to integrate tracking solutions into defense systems
  • Optimize tracking software for millisecond-critical performance-intensive environments
  • Communicate technical concepts and trade-offs to cross-functional teams, leadership, and customers; participate in field tests and demonstrations

What they're looking for

  • C++ programming
  • Python programming
  • Linear algebra and advanced mathematics
  • Probability and statistics
  • Real-time software systems
  • Signal processing and sensor fusion
  • Software engineering fundamentals (design patterns, testing, version control)
  • Performance optimization and debugging
