About this role
Anduril Industries seeks a Calibration Engineer to lead improvements to their internal calibration program in Costa Mesa, CA. You'll partner across product development, production, and field operations to establish calibration best practices, manage vendor relationships, implement new technologies, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
What you'll do
- Analyze and drive improvements to calibration activities and processes for calibrated devices
- Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for in-house calibration capabilities versus external vendor partnerships
- Manage calibration database, equipment tracking, rotation schedules, and traceability to prevent production delays
- Create and maintain calibration procedures, training materials, and conduct compliance audits
- Evaluate and implement new calibration technologies and methods to improve efficiency
- Support global site readiness reviews and ensure consistency across calibration plans and performance metrics
