Join Astranis's environmental testing team as an intern to operate and conduct testing on satellite hardware using thermal chambers, vibration tables, and specialized equipment. This 12-week internship offers hands-on experience designing and validating components destined for orbit while working alongside experienced engineers on meaningful space technology projects.

What you'll do

  • Operate and set up environmental test equipment including thermal chambers, TVAC, vibration shaker tables, and EMI/EMC systems
  • Execute environmental testing protocols covering vibration, thermal, thermal vacuum, RF, and acoustic analysis
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to design, build, and test satellite hardware and software
  • Learn and operate various test instruments such as DAQs, oscilloscopes, and thermal measurement devices
  • Document test results and support hardware validation for flight-ready systems
