About this role
Lead the technical architecture and system-level design of autonomous flight systems at Anduril, overseeing the onboard autonomy stack, command and control systems, and payloads for next-generation robotic platforms like Fury and Barracuda. Guide multidisciplinary engineering teams through full product development cycles with a software-heavy focus, bridging business strategy and rigorous engineering execution.
What you'll do
- Own technical architecture and system-level design of onboard autonomy stacks and command and control systems
- Lead systems engineering, requirements decomposition, and technical architecture for software-heavy robotics
- Guide small, fast-moving engineering teams through design, implementation, and deployment phases
- Design modular payload systems for autonomous aerial platforms
- Coordinate with specialist teams including Perception, Motion Planning, Hardware, and Test Engineering
- Bridge gap between high-level business strategy and engineering execution from concept to deployment
