About this role
Kitware's Open Source Software Technology Program offers recent Computer Science graduates a full-time permanent role combining professional software development with a fully-funded master's degree. You'll contribute to real-world open source projects across computer vision, scientific computing, and related domains while earning a competitive salary and completing your graduate education over three years.
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain open source software projects in production environments
- Contribute to real-world applications in computer vision, scientific computing, and data analytics
- Collaborate with experienced engineers on technical project leadership and best practices
- Balance graduate coursework with full-time software development responsibilities
- Participate in the complete lifecycle of open source platform development, funding, and sustainability
- Mentor and learn from senior technical staff on software architecture and project management
